Bernadette Cameron

I’m Bernadette Cameron, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Counsellor and Life Coach with more than five years of accredited experience supporting individuals, couples, young adults and corporate clients to face fears, heal from trauma, manage burnout, and build more fulfilling relationships and life choices.

Before joining Bayside Psychotherapy in Highett, Melbourne, I worked in both private practice and community settings across New South Wales and Victoria, developing a compassionate and practical approach grounded in evidence-based methods and genuine human understanding.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I also draw on professional speaker training to help corporate clients improve confidence, public speaking, and goal-setting skills.

After several rewarding years of practice in Northern NSW, I’ve now returned home to Melbourne, continuing my mission to help people feel calmer, more connected and empowered, both personally and professionally.

I believe good therapy begins with a compassionate ear. My role is to create a safe, confidential space where clients feel deeply heard and supported throughout their healing journey. I take a client-centred approach, drawing on an integrated toolkit of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Resource (Parts) Therapy, NLP, Compassionate Inquiry, Mindfulness, and Life Coaching to tailor each session to the unique needs of the individual or couple.

My approach is flexible, respectful and collaborative. Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, grief, fear, trauma, relationship stress or workplace pressure, my goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strengths, build emotional resilience and create lasting, positive change.
