Carolina Rosa
Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist, Melbourne
“Hi! I’m Carolina. I work with a variety of issues, but I mostly see people with anxiety and bruxism. If you’re struggling with something, feel free to book in. We’re all friendly and here to help.”

About Me
You might have seen me on TV, featured on House of Wellness in their story about hypnotherapy and phobias.
I’m Carolina Rosa, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Counsellor offering online and in-clinic sessions through Bayside Psychotherapy in Highett, Melbourne. I currently see clients on Saturdays (8 am to 3 pm) and Wednesdays (11 am to 6 pm), both face-to-face and online.
If you’re living with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or a racing mind, please know that you’re not alone. I’ve been there myself. I experienced severe anxiety, panic attacks, and depression for half of my life. Thankfully, I’m now in a lighter, calmer place. So believe me when I say that if I can heal and genuinely enjoy life rather than simply survive it, you can too.
As your counsellor and hypnotherapist, my goal is to:
- Provide a safe, understanding, and validating space where you can be yourself.
- Identify the beliefs and subconscious patterns that no longer serve you and help you change them.
- Help you reconnect with your strengths, qualities, and inner resources that may have been forgotten.
- Empower you with practical tools so that, when our work together ends, you walk away with confidence and a sense of balance.

Why Work With Me
My approach combines professional training with lived experience and genuine empathy. I understand what it feels like to live with anxiety and to rebuild from it. Therapy, for me, is about helping you rediscover your strength, find peace in your own skin and live life with confidence and purpose.
Whether we meet online or in person at Bayside Psychotherapy in Highett, I’ll provide a calm, supportive space where you can explore, heal and grow at your own pace.
Understanding Your Needs
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic process that helps quiet the conscious mind so we can work directly with the subconscious. In this relaxed, focused state, known as trance, change can occur more naturally and effectively.
You’ve probably experienced trance before — being absorbed in a book, film or daydream, losing track of time or surroundings. Hypnotherapy helps you use that natural focus purposefully to support healing and growth.
In hypnosis, the conscious mind steps aside, allowing access to the subconscious. This makes it easier to:
- Learn new skills with less effort
- Reframe difficult experiences
- Process trauma and calm the nervous system
- Replace destructive beliefs with constructive ones
- Access creativity, insight and emotional clarity
- Create new, healthier neural pathways
Many elite athletes use hypnosis to improve focus and performance, but it’s just as effective for emotional and mental wellbeing. Research shows the brain can rewire itself — and hypnosis can help you do this more efficiently than through willpower alone.
